Jose Lopez

Jose Lopez is an Emmy award winning animation designer working in the Film, TV and Video Game industries. He cultivated his signature style early on, working on such animated series as “Godzilla”, “Men in Black” and “Jackie Chan Adventures” (Sony). His work on “The Batman” and “Green Lantern: First Flight” (Warner Bros.) earned him critical praise. In 2015, he launched the video game Secret Ponchos (Switchblade Monkeys) which he co-created and art directed for Playstation. Clients who continue to request Jose’s work include Hasbro (Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, My Little Pony film), DreamWorks, Cartoon Network (Generator rex), Nickelodeon (Bel-Mondo), Lego, Google, Activision, Mattel, Gaumont, Titmouse, Fisher-Price, Skybound and DC comics to name a few.

He has published four books “Mariachi Samurai Vol. 1 and Vol. 2”, “4:00 am”, and “Lines Adorable” showcasing a collection of sketches and designs.

In 2014 Jose’s work as Art Director / Characters & Props for Hasbro Studios “Transformers: Prime” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Character Design.

Currently, Jose is designing for the upcoming MoonGirl and Devil Dinosaur tv show, based on the acclaimed Marvel comic for Disney TV Animation and Disney Chanel.
